Route 5 is an independent strategy game and analysis platform inspired by the classic connection game TwixT. It combines traditional connection-game strategy with a modern interactive interface, analysis tools, and A.I.-powered play.
Route 5 is inspired by the rules and strategic concepts of TwixT but is an independently developed game. Route 5 is not an official TwixT product. The TwixT name and related intellectual property belong to their respective rights holders.
Route 5 can import publicly viewable TwixT game records from Little Golem for replay and analysis. Little Golem remains an independent service, and Route 5 does not modify or submit games to Little Golem.
Route 5 can import publicly viewable TwixtLive game records for replay and analysis. Game data is retrieved only when requested by the user and is used in read-only form. TwixtLive remains an independent service. The TwixtLive integration is provided with permission from TwixtLive.
Route 5 uses TwixtBot, created by Jordan Lampe, as the foundation of its A.I. opponent. TwixtBot and its pretrained neural-network model are used and adapted under the MIT License. Special thanks to Jordan Lampe for creating TwixtBot and for kindly supporting its use in Route 5.

Route 5 is a browser-based tool for playing, practicing, and studying Twixt.
Play against another player or practice against AI on 24×24, 20×20, 18×18 and 16×16 boards. Route 5 also includes position evaluation, game review and import tools, an interactive tutorial, and visual aids for studying possible connections and moves.
You can play in Classic mode or use the optional 3D mode, which reimagines the board as a network of energy towers and links on a distant planet.
Route 5 is an independent project created for players who enjoy Twixt and want additional ways to play, experiment, and study the game.
